Services and benefits

Exhibitors will receive the following services and benefits:

  1. 3 exhibitor tickets and 5 Startupnight visitor tickets
    (both grant access to all Startupnight events on September 1)
  2. Access to our network and all parts of Startupnight and
  3. A stand approximately of 3 m2 subject to the following conditions: 
    1. You will obtain standard stand fitments with 1 high table, stand identification with name, logo and a brief description of your startup; we will ask you for the information and data necessary for this before the exhibition. No screws, nails or other fasteners may be affixed to, in or on the walls and floor. Adhesive tape may only be used if it can be removed without leaving any residue whatsoever.
    2. All combustible materials and plastics used for decorative purposes must be at least flame-retardant. Confirmation of the flame-retardant properties and impregnation executed as required by the regulations must be available at all times.
      For example, tablecloths and other fabrics must have a DIN 4102 B1 certification.
    3. Combustible material must be placed so far from ignition sources such as spot-lights that the material cannot be ignited by such sources. Equipment and devices which can become hot must be placed and kept at an adequate distance from flammable materials, fire alarms and sprinkler heads.
    4. You are responsible for everything which you construct, install, use or decorate yourself. This applies in particular to fire protection and, if applicable, any safety instructions etc. needed in respect of the stand. The rules of the site operator also apply on this matter. Important: As a result of the strict legal requirements, the site operator is entitled and obliged to enter and check stands, and if need be, to close down any stands which fail to comply with requirements. Please therefore obey the rules. If you have any doubts, please ask us.
    5. You may not construct anything which extends beyond the boundaries of your stand.
      The stand height must not exceed 220 cm – for example, through banners, flags, or similar objects. For special requests, please contact us. In the interests of organizers, exhibitors and visitors, it is necessary to provide maximum safety for the technical and design equipment at the event / exhibition.
    6. If you want to use any large exhibits or vehicles, this must be agreed with us in advance and the feasibility of this request investigated.
    7. The stand contains a power socket (Schuko 600W) for normal use. Equipment must be in perfect working order and only used for its intended purpose. Large power consumers must be agreed with us in advance.
    8. We provide a WLAN but cannot, of course, guarantee that the WLAN will be fully available at all times. The downloading and uploading or unlawful material via our WLAN is strictly prohibited.
    9. There is no storage available outside your booth area. You can deposit your bags and jackets in the cloakroom. Please note that the event organizer cannot assume any liability for your booth structures or valuables.
    10. The booth area must be left in a perfectly clean and tidy condition. Please remove all trash and packaging.

Place of jurisdiction and choice of law

German law applies. The place of jurisdiction for disputes arising from the contractual relationship in connection with Startupnight is our registered office.


Time for preparation of your booth:

  • September 1, 2023
  • From 12 pm (noon)

There will be an inspection of your booth before the Startupnight starts. Please take care, that at least one person is always available at your booth.


Disassembly times:

  • September 1, 2023
  • about 11 pm, directly after the exhibition (dismantling on the following day is unfortunately not possible!)

Logistics:

  • Delivery Atrium via Oberwallstraße (single-storey).
  • Delivery Lichthof via Jägerstraße (stairs) or Oberwallstraße (single-storey).
  • The delivery zone should be used only for loading and unloading.
  • There is paid parking in the area surrounding the Representative Office.

Long-distance identification:
We will produce banners to enable identification of the stands from longer distances. For this we will use the information you sent with your application.

Working times:
Your booth must be staffed with at least one person between 4 pm and 11 pm.
Due to safety measures and limited number of visitors, it is necessary that you check in and out at any time at the registration desk (even for assembly and disassembly) when you enter or leave the location. By this we can guarantee that your 3 registered persons can enter the location and leave at any time.


Catering:
We will provide a small snack for the evening, as well as drinks, free of charge.


Standard equipment:

  • 200 cm x 160 cm x 220 cm (width/depth/height) - booth space
  • power supply (1xSchuko, 600W)
  • WiFi
  • Please bring a multi-outlet power strip by your own if needed!
  • to attach posters to the booth, please bring clips, adhesive strips or similar

Booth setup must be completed by 12:30 pm (best), no later than 2:00 pm. This is important because our conference & networking break begins at 2 pm and attendees will be visiting the exhibit hall no later than that time.
