Karl Bär is a Member of the German Parliament and Group coordinator in the Committee on Food and Agriculture for Bündnis 90/ Die Grünen. In 2013, he graduated from Humboldt Universität and Freie Universität Berlin in agricultural economics as well as Islamic studies, sociology and political science. Before his election in 2021, he was a campaigner on international trade and agricultural policy at Umweltinstitut München.
