Without doubt it is clear that Quantum Computers will be the next revolution - offering lots of opportunities but also risks. Although originally thought to be impossible in 1995 (“50% chance of seeing a QC in 50 years”) first QCs have been practically build and the race for the QC supremacy just started. In this talk we try to demystify and explain Quantum Computing for a wide audience. We will also outline their revolutionary applications ranging from being the biggest Cybersecurity threat to designing new drugs while also enabling superefficient Machine Learning.
