Peder is an expert in smart city solutions and currently works for E.ON. Since Peder graduated as a mechanical engineering and started his career, his work has been focused on energy solutions within the new energy world. Peder is managing a number of development projects focused on smart grid solutions and local energy systems. He has deep knowledge in sustainable city issues and has set up a number of public–private partnership projects, for instance the “Smart Grid Hyllie” project, in Malmö, Sweden. In Hyllie, future solutions are deployed and developed as co-innovations with various actors. The project is established as a national and international demonstration of smart technologies on an end-consumer and infrastructure level. Currently, Peder is importing his knowledge from Hyllie to Berlin, where he works as a manager in E.ONs sustainable city solutions team.
